Renowned Scientist Stephen Hawking Dies At The Age Of 76.
Stephen William Hawking, the English theoretical physicist, cosmologist, author, and Director of Research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology within the University of Cambridge died at the age of 76. Stephen Hawking was born on 8th January 1942 in Oxford, United Kingdom. After he was diagnosed with this severe disease, he never lost his hope and He lived decades longer than his doctors anticipated when he was determined to have amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS) — Lou Gehrig’s infection — when only 21.

The disease left him in the wheelchair, paralyzed, which also leads to loss of his voice. He used to communicate through a voice synthesizer.
The news of his death came on early morning on Wednesday at his home in Cambridge.
His children, Lucy, Robert, and Tim said,
“We have deeply saddened that our beloved father passed away today.
“He was a great scientist and an extraordinary man whose work and legacy will live on for many years.”
His “courage and persistence” and his “brilliance and humor” inspired people across the world.
“He once said, ‘It would not be much of a universe if it wasn’t home to the people you love.’ We will miss him forever.”
