Sikh Man Removes His Turban To Save Boy’s Life

Harman Singh, 22, didn’t think twice before removing his turban to save a 5-year-old kid who had been hit by a car badly when he was on his way to school. The boy was walking to school with his older sister when he was hit. He could have suffered life-threatening head injuries, but he was lucky.

According to the NZ Hernald, Mr. Singh was at home when this accident take place. This accident take placeright outside of his home. He heard a vehicle skidding, and then a big bang. After that he suddenly ran outside to investigate the situation.

Mr. Singh said.. “I saw a child down on the ground and a lady was holding him. His head was bleeding, so I unveiled my turban and put it under his head.”

He said.. “Helping people is my job. I wasn’t thinking about the turban that moment. I was just thinking about the accident and how to help. That boy needed something on his head because he was bleeding so badly. I think anyone else would have done the same as me.”

He also said.. “Being a Sikh myself, I know what type of respect the turban has. People just don’t take it off. People die over it.”

Mr Singh stayed with the boy until emergency services arrived. Even the boy’s mother arrived in some time.
Mr. Harman Singh broke his strict Sikh religious protocol by removing his turban, but for his heroic act, he has also received lots of praise people from all around the world.

He has received thousands of messages and comments on his Facebook page.

He said thanks to everyone who messaged him from all around the world. He said I just did my job nothing else.

Such a great human beings. Mr Singh is from India and he’s studying a business course Auckland, NZ.
