Live: Blackbuck Killing Case. Salman Khan Gets 5-Year Jail Term.
Bad News For Salman’s Fan! Today, Actor Salman Khan found guilty of 1998 Blackbuck Poaching Case and sentenced 5 years of imprisonment. The other 4 co-accused stars- Sonali Bendre, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and Neelam — were acquitted of all charges. Salman Khan Gets 5-Year Jail Term, court found him guilty.

Its a shocking news for the Bollywood Insdustry. As Salman is curently shooting for his upcoming film Race 3, which is supposed to be released this EID,2018. The normal spending plan for the film is slated to associate with Rs 100 to Rs 120 crore. Salman has likewise also signedAli Abbas Zafar’s Bharat, Dabanng 3 and Kick 2.
“We’ll analyse the judgement. We want an immediate appeal to be filed against those who have been acquitted and we also demand maximum punishment for Salman Khan.” said Rampal Bhawad, State President, Bishnoi Tigers Vanya Evam Paryavaran Sanstha.
On the judgement, actress Neelam’s husband, Samir Soni said:
it was surprising that one person had been singled out. “I’m happy for Neelam and the rest of us, but very disappointed for Salman,” he said, while expressing support for the actor.

- Salman was convicted under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972
- Also Fined Rs 10,000 by a Jodhpur court.
2. What the prosecutors say:
“All of them were in a Gypsy car that night, with Salman Khan in the driving seat. He, on spotting a herd of black bucks, shot at and killed two of them,” Public Prosecutor Bhawani Singh Bhati said.
“But on being spotted and chased, they fled from the spot leaving the dead animals there,” he said, adding that there was adequate evidence against them.
3. Salman Khan’s defence
His lawyer, H M Saraswat denied all allegations made by the prosecutor. He said.
“There were several loopholes in the prosecution’s story and it had failed to prove its case beyond any doubt.”
“Prosecution has failed to prove the allegations. It engaged in tampering and fabricating evidence and documents as well as roping in fake witnesses to prove its case,” he said.
“It even failed to prove that the blackbucks were killed by gunshots. Hence, such investigation cannot be trusted,” Saraswat said.
This Incident happened in 1998, while shooting for the film, ‘Hum Sath Sath Hai’.
